Every single day millions of photos are uploaded to the internet and social media.

As a professional photographer, not only is it my job to capture and make beautiful images, but it is to separate myself from the rest of the pack and make an individual feel something. A memory, emotion, or even unearth the beginning of a story.

Being a photographer isn't just pointing a cell phone camera at a sunset, or adding a filter to a picture; it’s capturing a memorable moment, uncovering someone's true beauty, seeing what others cannot, and being creative.

After taking photos as a hobby I decided to get a degree in photography at Herkimer College.

During college my passion for capturing beautiful images exploded. Eventually, I needed hours in the field for a particular class. My professor found out that a local newspaper was looking for a photo intern and I had decided to give it a shot.

After seeing what work a photojournalist is required to do, I immediately fell in love with the occupation. The newsroom environment, tight deadlines, and being able to photograph many different scenarios feels right to me.

Telling stories and showing emotion through my images is the best feeling. I also really enjoy photographing sports.

I’m available for employment and continue to do my own commercial, freelance, portrait and wedding photography on the side.
